Copenhagen · Phage Discovery

Finding the viruses that fight bacteria.

Automation and machine learning applied to one of biology's oldest weapons.

What we do

Three stages. One pipeline.

Discover

High-throughput screening of environmental and clinical samples to isolate candidate phages against target bacteria.

Characterize

Automated assays and ML-driven analysis to map host range, efficacy, and genomic features of each candidate.

Deliver

Curated phage candidates and supporting data packages for biotech, food safety, and research partners.

How it works

Faster phage discovery, by design.

What once took weeks of manual screening, we're rethinking from the ground up. A few of the ways we make it possible:

Early detection

AI predicts which cultures will lyse.

Plates are scanned for plaques as they appear, and from the first hours of growth our models forecast which cultures will clear, well before it shows by eye.

0h 4h 8h 12h 16h OD₆₀₀ now · 4h High likelihood of lysis flagged at 4h · P = 94%

Optimized protocol

Many tests, small and fast, run in parallel.

Each assay is miniaturized, so thousands run at once instead of one after another, screening continuously around the clock.

Miniaturized · massively parallel

AI ranking + host range

The strongest candidates, ranked by host range.

Drawing on a growing sequence library, our models score every phage against every target strain and surface the top performers automatically.

Who we are

Researchers building the phage discovery infrastructure to solve antibiotic resistance.

We believe bacteriophages (viruses that naturally prey on bacteria) are an underused tool. Our platform combines wet-lab automation with computational analysis to make phage discovery faster, more structured, and reproducible.
